Bang Bang

Ok this is the first time that I have invested money into my blog! I bought an app that will allow me to blog and post photos from my iPad. I want to be able to blog more, and that means I need to be able to do it from my iPad. Because its the only "computer" that belongs to me and that I have with my all the time :) I searched Google for how to add photos to my posts from my iPad and the best I could come up with was that I should buy an app that will allow me to do so. I then tried to decide what was the best app and purchased it! In fact I am writing this post using it. So if this works out then I guess it will be worth the money :P Now, onto what I was making this post for in the first place...

Yesterday I did something I have been thinking about for a long time. I cut my own hair. I have been cutting my husbands hair for a while now. And I know that cutting a woman's long hair is totally different. Especially if its your own hair! But I thought, "I might be able to do this!" And so I went for it. I was originally going to try to cut side swept bangs, but I ended up with long bangs instead. And then the rest was just layers :) Here are a few photos of the outcome!

A front view right after the cut!

This was the best way I could take a photo of the back. I know you can't totally see the layers, but I promise that there are layers!

See! Layers!

I was trying out how it would look with my hat :)

Then this was today on my way to school :)

And now with my hair up writing this blog!

I am pleased with the outcome. It doesn't require me to run to the nearest salon to get it fixed. Which was a worry that I had when I first started cutting my hair :P I got a lot of attention today from my hair. Even my Math teacher talked to me about it. I guess my classmates are so used to me wearing my hair clipped back and pulled up into a ponytail. Change is good :) Plus I think Fall/Winter is the perfect time to add bangs to your hair! They'll keep your forehead warm :P I cut my bangs by parting my hair from the crown of my head to the ends of my eyebrows and making that hair my bangs. Then I cut the layers by taking small sections of my hair and pulling it straight upwards and trimming the ends. But pulling it up like that it creates layers :) Anyways, in the end, I have a new hair style and I didn't have to shovel out any money for it! Win win!

Thank goodness for the new ipad application. I've missed your blog.

Your new bangs are really adorable and the perfect length. Whenever I get a good length bang I feel like they grow out really fast, but since you cut them yourself it will be easy for you to maintain!

By the way: Bangs + hat = too cuteness

I. Love. Your. Bangs. They are adorable. And I think cuter than your last round of full bangs? Like, the length and placement and thickness is perfect! Way to go! You should cut my hair sometime ;)

P.S. Hear hear, Shelly. Now that you have that iPad app you can blog more...YES!
