Children

I have been really into browsing art blogs lately. Something about it has really captured me lately. I think it has something to do with taking that Art History class last semester. I've always been creative, and made art myself. But I haven't always enjoyed looking at art. In fact, there was a time when it was really boring to me. Maybe it has something to do with age and growing more mature too. Who knows. Anyways, I was on Etsy today because I was going to buy one of Yellena's pieces as I mentioned when I did a review of her work. But I got lost browsing other art like I always do! I found this guys page, his name is listed as G Wilson. His art is really abstract. But you can really tell that there are stories in each piece. Much of his art looks very child like to me. It seems to have an innocence to it. It doesn't appear lazy like some abstract art does (to me). And there is even one that shares my nick name "Nessy". Although I spell it "Nessie"... Here is that piece

See what I mean about the child like feel to it? Well I don't always know why I like some of the art I like... but I like this guy's! I seem to be in an abstract kind of art kick right now. Its so weird to me, because a year ago I probably wouldn't have glanced twice at this piece. And if I did, it more then likely would've been to say how stupid it was... My how I have changed!
