Linus and Lucy

Have you ever written a paragraph or two of a blog post and just really not liked it at all and erased the whole thing and started over? Well that's what I just did. I also did that yesterday... blah. Such a waste of time! Anyways. Today I bought my clownfish, Hubert, his first sea anemone. I named the sea anemone Lucy. It seemed girly to me. She's white with purple dots on the ends of her arms. So pretty! I love her already. Now if only Hubert would love her too! You see I have had a clown fish before, Bernie. And when I bought him his first sea anemone he snuggled up to the anemone in about 5 minutes of me putting it in the tank. He freaking loved that thing to pieces! See this is how a clown fish is supposed to interact with his anemone... But Hubert has not gone up to Lucy at all :( I am really really hoping that he warms up to her by tomorrow. Because seriously, it's not like these things are cheap! Today I also changed one of the fans in my tank, changed the water, and changed the filter!! Whew!

I also painted my toenails. A job that has been needing to be done for a LONG time! So now my toes are Spring ready. I also took out all my "nicer" (then the Old Navy 2 for $5 flip flops, even though I do like these too) sandals. Beings that I just painted my toes I felt comfortable enough to put them on and take some photos for you guys!

I liked these sandals so much I got two different colors! Brown and teal...

And I wanted to have a pair of nice black sandals...

And these ones remind me of sandals that I wore when I was a little girl...

And how could I resist these pink girly ones?

By the way, I don't wear my jeans rolled up, they'd be too short like that, but I wanted you to be able to see the sandals properly :)

Today I also decided to go for a run. And when I came back naturally I took a shower. I had to laugh a little when I saw my two bottles of body wash next to each other in the shower...

What do you know! Coral and Teal...
These soaps are the Rub Rub Rub that I've done a review on before. And then the coral colored one is a new one! Here is a review on it...

The Olive Branch

To be honest the first time I smelled this soap I didn't like it. So I didn't use it for a long time. In fact the only reason I used it yesterday (finally!) was because of my recent trip to LUSH. You see I was admiring this one bath bars scent and the employee says "oh yeah, that one smells just like The Olive Branch!" And I looked at him like he was crazy! I replied "oh no it doesn't! You're crazy" I then grabbed the sample bottle of The Olive Branch, smelled it, and then smelled the bath bar, then I confirmed "no, they don't smell the same!" And I had him smell them both too. He agreed that its not EXACTLY the same, but that they are supposed to be like each other because they have the same ingredients in them. At that point I promised him that I would try my bottle of The Olive Branch. And I did. And I was surprised that I liked it. First of all, this soap is packed with olive oil, so its super silky! It has a light fragrance, but I have to say, it was a nice fragrance :) There is a hint of bergamot and lemon in this soap as well. I don't think I will ever buy more of this soap. But I will use this bottle of it. It is a really nice soap, just not my favorite.

Well this was quite a post! I hope it was a nice read :)

I love your shoes! Well... I must admit that I'm a little addicted to shoes in the first place, so blog posts about shoes are my weakness.

I even bought shoes in Portugal and am taking pictures of the shoes here. I'm obsessed. What can I say? It's my girly instinct to be attracted to shoes, right?

If I were rich, I would have a room for my shoes. That is all.

I love shoes too. But I only buy flats. I have learned to accept the fact that I cannot wear heals anymore (tendon problems). But thankfully there has been a lot of cute flats coming out lately. The pair of brown and teal sandals are really thin leather and I can tell that they are going to form well to my feet and be really comfy. I haven't worn any of the other ones out yet. But today I am planning on wearing the pink ones out for a little while :)

I am trying to get into the habit of blogging 5x a week like you do :)

The Olive Branch was always super popular with staff...I guess there used to be an Olive Branch perfume and they always freaked out at the idea of buying some more, ha. Its funny how it separates too, don't forget to shake it up!

Your shoes and toes are verrrry adorable. That reminds me that I need to paint my toes as well. Too bad that it is NOT flip flop or sandal weather here! :-P
